He hacks into the local police database and goes through the arrest records. After some searching, he comes across the last name of the family. He views the police report and comes across something disturbing. The reason for arrest: Minority threat – suspected terrorist activity – Iranians. Marcus is appalled by such discrimination.

The desk sergeant allows them to enter the headquarters. As soon as they walk into the inner-part of the building they veer off and go into the database room. They plant a bug on a computer that will hack it and grant them access to the entire database. Soon after, they are stopped by police and arrested

Scene 8

The police detain Marcus and Jolu. They are held and questioned. The police ask them why they were in the server room. Fortunately, the police do not find the bug and release the boys. They warn the boys that they will be under close surveillance.

Scene 9

Marcus argues with his father, calling him a pawn and a fool. He runs upstairs and grabs his laptop and runs out with Jolu. Marcus’ father stands at the doorway of his house and yells for Marcus to come back.

Scene 10

Within the sanctity of an abandoned warehouse, Marcus and Jolu investigate the findings of the bug. They see comprehensive lists of DNA scanning, tracking, discrimination, and other forms of injustices. They plan to release the evidence to the general public to incite a revolt. Unfortunately, the police raid the warehouse. Marcus and Jolu are forced to flee and escape successfully.

Scene 11

Jolu decides to back out of the plan. He tells Marcus that the consequences will be severe if he is caught since he belongs to a minority group. Marcus is hurt but understands Jolu’s reasoning. Marcus then begins to release the police records to the Internet. The general populace is outraged and a movement begins. The online members of this movement plan to hold a mass protest in front of the San Francisco city hall.

Scene 12

Marcus attends the protest. Tens of thousands of people are there and actively denouncing the police. Though the protest is peaceful, police begin to fire tear gas into the crowd. This enrages the protesters and a riot occurs. Marcus tries to calm the crowd down by trying to reason with them through a loudspeaker but they ignore him. The masses of people soon overwhelm the police and occupy city hall. The movie ends with Marcus standing among the throngs of people and contemplating the uncertain future.
