Among the People that are underpaid and under appreciated, there is one group that attacks one of our greatest needs. They tirelessly toil against the insatiable appetite of America. They are chefs and if your not one of the top chefs in America or a sue chef for one of them you must work harder for less money, pit yourself against other comrades of the business for the entertainment of people watching television, and other wise swim in the cut throat waters of the chef’s world. Hitting it big on television will happen to maybe five of the thousands that apply for the shows. If you are Responsible for a dish that a patron of a restaurant likes, the head chef may still take credit.
Being a chef is one of the few low wage jobs that require an education. To be a successful chef you have to go to culinary school and bet all of your loans on the chance that you will get a well enough paying job to pay them back. You can take the path of burger king or fast food chains and work in the kitchen with little to no education or training, however you then would make only minimum wage. These people suffer in silence and often comment to their friends that the kitchen is a terrifying and godless place.
Being a chef is a tease. You are gifted with the ability to make delicious food and prepare them well but unless you are successful you can only afford so much food to work with for your family. Up and coming chefs are under paid under valued low wageworkers.
