The comic strip I created is sort of a parody of the first few chapters in Little Brother. It mainly follows Marcus, just as the novel does, because he is the most interesting character so far. Although it is not meant to be funny, it does highlight some of the story's exaggerations, particularly how Marcus and his friends become involved with the DHS. This comic strip is meant to showcase the ridiculousness of the treatment the teens receive, simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, yet it is also meant to show people that our government is capable of treating anyone like that and that we are close to powerless.
