Offshore outsourcing has created a revolution in the world of business. As production costs fall from cheap international labor, corporations enjoy the additional profits earned from selling their goods at high prices in the United States. Consumers are satisfied with the lower cost of goods, but outsourcing has done a lot of damage that can not be overlooked. The middle class of American workers and many low income jobs, are being lost to places like Thailand, China, and Vietnam. Thousands of Americans are losing their jobs increasing unemployment levels to that which we have never suffered through before. Offshore outsourcing is harming families, the future of American workers, and our economy. I will be advocating for people who are suffering from outsourcing, while also realizing how outsourcing is perceived as beneficial for corporations and consumers.
