Movie Pitch

The story starts out with Marcus having just been tortured while he's being held by the DHS. He's thinking the same thoughts as he was in "Little Brother" but this time a little deeper. Marcus still sings the same rebellious tunes, he still hates the DHS, but he's noticed something. Severe Haircut Lady has been nicer to him now that he's been in the holding cells for a few days. She's been talking to him softer, listening more, and treating him more like a human. He's beginning to think that she might be trying to trick him into a good-cop bad-cop routine. But he convinces himself not to buy into it.
Marcus is brought into the interrogation room once again and this time he notices the same thing, Severe Haircut Lady is being overly nice. Touching his hands, complimenting him, and looking at him oddly, yet with kind eyes. This time through, he doesn’t get tortured, he doesn’t get yelled at, and he goes back to his cell not thinking about how hurt he is.

In the middle of that night, Marcus is fast asleep dreaming of his situation. In his dream he sees Severe Haircut Lady, but she’s different. She’s not wearing dark gloomy clothes, but a bright dress. And instead of the dark hallways of the bunker, they are in a grassy meadow. Her hair is pulled back and he sees her for who she is. He looks at her again and this time she looks back. Immediately he feels a warmth growing inside of him when they lock eyes.

He wakes up violently and realizes it was only a dream. But his next day goes differently, he is ordered into the interrogation room where is unsure of what to expect. Marcus gazes over at Severe Haircut Lady and realizes something different about her, her hair is pulled back just like in the dream. He can’t believe it, everything is making sense now! The dream meant something, it was a premonition. He had to have her now, he was in love, and so was she.

Everything has changed now, the two can’t stop looking at each other in the interrogation room and the interrogations have been going much easier now. Soon, the interrogations become 1 v 1, he gets fed like an average human being, and he is upgraded to a nicer room with a bathroom complete with shower and sink.

As the “interrogations” continue, she is surprisingly helpful and willing to help Marcus escape. They begin plotting to escape him and eventually overthrow the DHS and restore order. Stay tuned for more..
